  My 8 year old daughter has been taking lessons with Sam for two years. Sam is a great teacher, he is fun but also focused and sets high expectations. She has learned a lot - music, theory, and ensemble work.

  Sam is amazing! He's so patient with my daughter, despite her chattiness during their lessons :>, and his structured method of teaching helps future cellists build their skills one at a time and in a way that makes complete sense. Even us "non-musicians" can see the connections and follow along in a way that allows us to support and help our children as they practice at home. Anyone looking for a cello teacher needs to come to Sam and no one else!
